Frequently lock my card even after I make payments and communicate with them. I’ve been homeless since August and it’s now January. Finally start getting money into my account since starting a new job and I bring it back into the positive and they keep my account locked so I can’t access any of my funds. And they close on the weekends and have zero support to get your card unlocked. I will be changing banks as soon as humanly possible. Credit union has gone down the shithole since they closed on weekends.

I have been a customer with Plus Credit Union since 2007 when I was 13 years old. I have had a very positive experience with Plus CU over the years. The interest rate of my account helps build each year and it is nice to know my money is growing at this institution. I've been a member of IBEW Plus Credit Union for over 35 years. They gave me the best interest rate on myfirst auto and on recent auto loan! The product offerings are straight forward and the clerks are helpful.

I don't understand why a credit union charges for a checking account, this is an outdated way of doing business. Also, don't think of overdrawing your account cause they will call with in minutes, stating they will go to collections for the negative balance if not paid in a timely manor.

I opened my account with IBEW in 1989., Since then, I have bought a certificate of deposit, had a car loan, maybe two, I’ve had several business dealings throughout the years involving IBEW with no issues. When I put my accounts in the trust, they made it Effortless. When my debit card was jeopardized, I was notified immediately to avoid any loss on my behalf. I am more than comfortable with IBEW. One summer I rewarded my son with some cash for help he gave me , He was 9 or 10 ,I took him straight to IBEW And helped him open a savings account, He’s 29 now and still has that account, Along with a Checking he started later. whenever I have a question about financing or anything in the finance world, I refer my questions to Amber extension 5959. If she doesn’t have an answer, she knows where to get it and explains it the way even an old carpenter Like me can understand it.
